Rolling Stones in Brazil
Rolling Stones Played one of the most impressive world concerts on Rio de Janeiro Copacabana beach. More than a million spectators enjoyed that performance.
More than a million fans visited the Rolling stones concert in Rio. The size of the stage was simply shocking : the height of a seven-storey(!!!) building. There was a special connection between this construction with the hotel where the musicians stayed.
We should mention that it was the 1st time the group played in Brazil for free! Lots of the city visitors saw that brilliant performance even though the heat was awful!The show in Rio is a part of the world’s tour of the band.
Some people didn’t even know the group but the comment were very favorable in general:“It’s going to be boiling and we won’t be able to get very close. But if they love our country, that’s good.”
People from all over the world could listen to this concert as it was translated on the radio and the Internet. But the luckiest were the Americans: there were more than 150 cinema screen all over the country!
We also should mention that that the gig cost Rio more than $750. Nevertheless it lived up to all the expectations!
