Red Hot Chili Peppers: disappointing theft
Red Hot Chili Peppers are still working on their double album “Stadium Arcadium“. Many fans all over the world are looking forward to it! The musicians promise the album wont let down all the expectations. But a few days ago an underdone version leaked over the Internet.
The musicians discovered that their long-awaited 2-cd album “Stadium Arcadium” was somehow stolen and put in the Internet. In general its a very common problem. Hackers often steal underdone albums, LPs and videos before their official release. Unfortunately we cannot even say who has benefit in this case, because the audience get low-quality records and musicians get great disappointment.
FLEA said in his open letter to all the fans: “We worked for a year and a half to make the epic record of our lives … I think it is a fair deal for everyone and for people to just steal a poor sound quality version of it for free because some asshole stole it and put it on the Internet is sad to me.”
I’m absolutely sure the fact upset the band a little but in general the atmosphere is very good. Things go really well and we should also mention a great gig which the band organized it April.
All the commentaries say practically the same: “It was a great show”. The band played on a small stage and the show was planned to be a secret one, but it wasn’t! Many people in the street near the concert hall were standing and asking for a spare ticket, but in fact there weren’t any. The show began with faded lights and Flea’s bass riff which was soon added by Frusciante’s guitar part. So all in all the show left no one indifferent! The band played the majority of their hits like “Scar Tissue“,”Californication“, “By the Way” and a single “Dani California” from a new album.
