Sex Pistols Release Early Demos Compilation
The legendary punk artists, Sex Pistols, are giving an official release to their famous bootleg album Spunk.
The release of the album, including twelve of the earliest demos by Pistols will take place July 17 on Castle Music/Sanctuary Records. At the moment, the band did not announce the desire for a North American release. The album was recorded in three separate sessions with the help of recording engineer Dave Goodman, Spunk is perhaps really notable because of the fact that it is the one and only collection of the band material with the original lineup of Glen Matlock, Steve Jones, Johnny Rotten and Paul Cook. The thing is that Matlock left the band just before entering the studio to record Never Mind The Bullocks.
The album is going to be released on CDs and LPs, while the vinyl copies will be limited to 1000. To encourage people to buy both, the CD version will feature three bonus tracks: Anarchy in the U.K., Pretty Vacant, and No Fun.
Tracks included into the album:
- Seventeen
- Satellite
- Feelings
- Just Me
- Submission
- Nookie
- No Future
- Problems
- Lots Of Fun
- Liar
- Who Was It
- Looking For A Kiss
- Anarchy In The U.K.
- Pretty Vacant
- No Fun
