NIGHTWISH Pre-Producting New Album
A pre-production recording of the tracks has been completed. They are to appear on the band’s upcoming sixth album coming in the middle of 2007.
The band are to reconvene in September. They`ll make changes to the songs and then the recording process for the album will be commenced.
As is known Tarja Turunen has left the band. Nightwish are now looking for a replacement. As soon as they do it, they will begin recording the follow-up to 2004’s “Once”.
NIGHTWISH’s “End of an Era” has been certified gold in Germany and Finland. It contains recordings one of which is the final concert with Turunen, 55-minute documentary and a slidehow of pictures can be found on DVD. By the way, do you know anything about this documentary? It was edited by the man (Timo Halo) who edited and directed the “From Wishes To Eternity - Deleted Scenes” and “End of Innocence” movies.
