The official Rammstein site says that the band is going to release a new live DVD “Vulkerball” this October.
The band’s manager Manager Emanuel Fialik has issued the following statement:

“More is not possible – we show everything that can be packed onto a DVD nowadays. Almost three hours of live recordings filmed in France, Japan, England and Russia. Also there is an audio CD featuring 75 minutes concert footage. In a special edition the band will release a second DVD with 2 documentaries over 90 minutes. That makes threee discs in a special edition; two DVD’s and one audio CD. On top of that we are working on another surprise. Now it is most important to release the finished work soon. I don’t want to keep anybody waiting longer than to the end of October. It was hard work and we are absolutely proud of it! We are now looking forward to the verdict of the Rammstein fans.”

Arctic Monkeys have just been announced as the winners of 2006 Mercury Prize.

The band got £20,000 award for their first album “Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not”.

While taking the prize the vocalist Alex Turner quipped: “Somebody call 999, Richard Hawley’s just been robbed!”

The band had been heavy favourites with the bookies leading up to the lavish ceremony at London’s Grovesnor House Hotel.
