Traditional Letters Writing

Saturday, 22.09.2007

Times come and go. At the same time we change together with them. So many people, including teenagers, are getting to forget basic rules of how to properly write letters and address envelopes. We got into the way of using email services not having any idea what to do with zip codes, postage stamps, envelopes, etc.

On the one part, we really make use of electronic mail, because this is so easy-to-use way of keeping in touch with pen pals. Indeed, many kids say that e-mail is one of the Internet’s oldest forms of messaging. On the other hand, our new generation should be in the know how to handle traditional letter writing as well as adults. No matter, what sort of message you are eager to compose.

There are several ways when you have to turn to advantage of writing letters. First off, your pen pal has no any access to the web and probably doesn’t know what email is. Of course, the old generation (grandmas, grandpas, etc.) is a typical representative that used to the paper letters and messages. Though, there is no rule without exceptions!

Sometimes the old people struggle to get their kids and grandchildren to write letters, or thank-you notes to their grandparents and distant relatives. In such a way representatives of youth can teach to up-to-date look-and-feel, peculiarities of digital media, and surely how to use e-mail and mobile phones, send and receive messages online.

“People ask us if an e-mail note will suffice, and we’ll tell them that it’s better than no note at all, but a written note is imperative, especially if it’s a grandparent.” (Cindy Post Senning, director, Emily Post Institute)

Berks County Zip Codes

Tuesday, 19.06.2007

Berks_County_Zip_Codes.jpgBerks County is a beautiful place in the US. The state Berks County is located in is called Pennsylvania, a colorful spot on the map of the United States of America. However if you happen to be the inhabitant of that place you know that yourself, don’t you?

People can argue a lot over the most charming state of the States and no matter what they would say they would all be right and would have a point. Every state is a unique one and can be characterized by its own words.

Where ever you go asking people one and the same question ‘what state do they consider to be the loveliest one?’ the opinion will differ. But there is nothing wrong in that actually, because every person has his or her own taste and preferences and everyone loves his or her home state.

There is no doubt that Pennsylvania is a lovely state and Berks County is a charming county indeed.

Berks County zip codes make up a separate subject to talk about. In fact zip codes are as a rule confusing for most of us and it may be very useful to be aware of them.

So if Berks County zip codes make up the topic that interests you there are several ways to satisfy your curiosity. First of all you have to decide what your interest is like. Are you a professional and there fore your interest is a professional one, or maybe you are a curious citizen that simply wants to know zip codes of the area she or he lives in?

Are you none of the above? If this is so, you may happen to be a tourist whose interest is kind of professional and kind of exists out of curiosity and necessity as well.

If you know why need to know Berks County zip codes you can easily decide where to get those codes. If you are a proud citizen you may think of buying a zip code data base on DVD or in the format of a handbook, if you are a visitor you can go for an online version of the database. (Wanna know what the postcard is, so read the proper article on our website.)
