LED ZEPPELIN legend Jimmy Page Cancelled His Participation

Jimmy Page has cancelled his participation in the June,30 concert at this year’s Montreux Jazz Festival due to medical reasons…

The Montreux Jazz Festival will pay tribute to Ahmet Ertegun, who founded the mystic record label Atlantic in 1947. Some of the most important names in contemporary music will participate in the concert (Jeff Beck, Solomon Burke, CHIC, Phil Collins, George Duke, Chaka Khan, Kid Rock, Ben E. King, Bette Midler, Stevie Nicks, Paolo Nutini, Robert Plant, and Steve Winwood, plus the NILE RODGERS ORCHESTRA and the ATLANTIC SOUL ALL-STARS featuring Les McCann, Cornell Dupree, Ronnie Cuber, Jerry Jermott, and Buddy Williams).
 
The festival has grown since 1967.It gathers artists spanning a wide musical spectrum, including jazz, blues, soul, R&B, gospel, rock, pop, hip-hop, and world music. This year’s festival will run from June 30 through July 15 — 16 days of concerts taking place simultaneously at three different venues…

Muse Play Free Gig in London

MuseMuse showed up with a new album Black Holes & Revelations at an free show in London on June 28.

The band gave free tickets to their gig at their official website. Those who weren’t lucky enough to get tickets will be able to watch the show on MTV.

On the space decorated stage, Muse played 8 tracks from their new album Black Holes & Revelations together with popular old hits like Time Is Running Out, Plug In Baby, Hysteria and New Born.

Morgan Nicholls, a new member of the band, also played his first concert with the band.

Fall Out Boy in flames with The Killers

The conflict broke out last year when Flowers complained about sharing his record-label with Fall Out Boy, It flared up again when Wentz mockingly invited Flowers out to a sushi dinner.Fall Out Boy The KillersNow everything repeates thanks to an interview with Flowers that appeared in the NME.

According to the interview, Flowers said: “You don’t realize what you could be getting yourselves into with Fall Out Boy,” Flowers said, addressing British music fans, “and what kind of impact it could have in a way that you don’t really want. Culturally, if it gets as big as it is in America, it could change an entire generation of people growing up here…”
