Deep Purple Re-released Rapture of the Deep
Thursday, 29.06.2006
It was reported that an expanded version of the latest DEEP PURPLE album, “Rapture of the Deep”, was released on Tuesday, June 27. The new release includes the original album with a second CD that has a remake of the song “Clearly Quite Absurd” and 5 onstage performances from the Hard Rock Cafe in London last October. The guitarist Steve Morse said that the atmosphere that night helped the band play exceptionally well: “Any time you play in a club, the energy’s fantastic. I don’t know — just (an) excited crowd right at our feet, literally, ’cause it’s a tiny little place, and just a packed crowd, so close to the equipment. It gets a really nice sound”.
