Nickelblack vocalist Chad Kroeger has been accused of drunk driving.

The musician, who real name is Chad Robert Turton, will stand in front of a judge on August 25 with regards to the incident in Surrey, British Columbia.

Kroeger was caugth driving with a blood alcohol level over .08.

The investigation began on June 22. It has been reported that 2 police officers stopped a car after becoming suspicious due to the way the vehicle was being driven.

Jimmy Page was forced to cancel a gig because he recovers from a knee problem.

The Led Zeppelin member was operated on earlier the year, but his recovery has been slower than expected.

Because of that, the musician will not be able to join Roy Harper at the Rhythm Festival on August 5.

A statement published on his behalf said: “Although surgery was completely successful, Jimmy is still in the midst of ongoing physical therapy sessions to complete the treatment, and his doctors have advised against playing until recovery is complete. This, of course, is a huge disappointment to Jimmy who was looking forward to joining his friend Roy Harper on stage at what promises to be a wonderful musical weekend. Jimmy urges everyone to attend the festival and enjoy the great list of musicians performing over the three days”.
