Mailmen keep on delivering mail to your mailboxes every day. That’s nice in spite of the fact that all of us opt for various e-mail services time out of mind. We show preference to writing either festive or business letters for some occasions. Traditional letters can be delivered some time later than by email, but hard paper shows in what way a sender of a letter takes an interest in your personality.

Stick to the fresh news Rockdrift.com gathered from all over the web at your service to make it clear what’s going on in postal service area.

First of all, I can’t pass the USPS news. The national US postal service issues various collections of postage stamps dedicated to meaningful cultural events. Sporting activities of universal importance as the XXIX Olympic Games in Beijing demand a special attention on the USPS side. Thus, the United States Postal Service issued the Olympic Games commemorative stamp, which is being issued to coincide with the games of the XXIX Olympiad, which will be held Aug. 8-24 in Beijing, China.

Furthermore, speaking about postage stamps and postal news concerning the USPS, we can’t but miss a new release of a best-selling author James Michener and a noted physician Dr. Edward Trudeau images, imprinted on stamps.

Postal service launched expedited legal-sized envelopes. Unlike envelopes from other carriers, Express Mail and Priority Mail may be delivered to mailboxes, mail slots and P.O. Boxes, making it the most secure option for legal-sized documents in the U.S.

Improved Postal Service Depends On Open Market, Says Comreg. ComReg, the communications regulator, has said the development of innovation in the postal service and the provision of better value will only be achieved if An Post’s dominant position “does not foreclose” on the emergence of a fully competitive market.

New Express Couriers Joint Venture in Australia. New Zealand Post formed Express Couriers Australia Pty Limited (ECA), a 50:50 joint venture with Deutsche Post World Net (DPWN), for the ownership and operation of express courier businesses in Australia.

New Research Helps Pinpoint Mail’s True Environmental Impact - New Pitney Bowes White Paper. According to the research’s findings, mail is a small component of most consumers’ carbon footprint and made from an increasingly renewable resource: trees. In other words, the mailing industry influences the environmental sustainability, therefore there should be taken measures for environmental protection and rational use of natural resources.

The most important point, however, is that the use of electronic gadgets to receive and send messages might as well protect us from negative consequences like a deforestation. Reading news, chatting, discussions, etc. by means of gadgetry is a main way to save our time, money and nature.

Technorati Tags: postal news, envelopes, mail, postal service, postage stamps, postcards, USPS, olympic games, research, zip codes, mailman, mail boxes, e-mail

Who is Hitler? I bet everyone can give a proper description somehow or other! There’re many abusive words given him owing to what he did in the past. However, a few people pay their last respects to him and his encirclement.

Should we decide whether this <strike>out of the ordinary</strike> personality deserves any kind of honor and recollection or has to be blamed and damned?! The majority of people remember Hitler and his policy in look bleaks. On the other side, times change and we change altogether.

Not long ago I happened upon strange news concerning Neo-Nazis post stamps. It turned out that Deutsche Post issued a collection of Rudolf Hess stamps. By the way, Mr. Hess was a Hitler’s fellow fighter. For the fascist regime he has been an epoch-making figure.

I’m just curious how Neo-Nazis were able to take in Deutsche Post!? Do industrial and office workers of Post go limp? Obviously, not everybody can know the faces of Hitler’s encirclement. It has aroused all manner of speculation on my side (like skinheads and Nazis penetrated the Post and allowed such a thing to be issued!).

Deutsche Post spokesman Dirk Klasen offered: “It was a slip-up. We are very sorry about it. It runs in most cases without difficulty. Only with the Hess image did something go awry. I presume it came from the far-right scene. But those 20 envelopes won’t affect German democracy.” Deutsche Post spokesman Dirk Klasen confirmed that an order of 20 55-cent stamps had been printed by the service.

Unfortunately, I couldn’t find any patterns of Hess stamps. Have a look at photos of Hitler and Hess next to him.

Let me show you some Hitler stamps at your consideration. Value of Hitler stamps should be estimated respectively.

These stamps are the original Hitler Heads issued by the Germany Government during WWII. As leader of Germany and the Nazi party, Adolf Hitler demanded that his image be placed on postage stamps.

Most of the stamps with Hitler were devoted to differetn considerable events like victories and triumphs. Everything points to the fact that fascist theme matters till now. Thus, value of Hitler stamps is high.

Old postcards and stamps can tell too much about one or another building or person. They are just like privacies or medical reports that contain proper data and information on specific features, characteristics, properties, secrets and habits known only a small number of people.

We can’t but go into raptures seeing such weird and wonderful masterpieces here and there. Furthermore, a person with a deep sensory perception is capable of going into ecstasies while seeing antique buildings drawn in old postcards photos of synagogues, castles, churches, mosques, etc.

The most important moment, however, is that you can appreciate old constructions at their true value either you’re a Christian or a Muslim. By the way, it’s no by chance why I did single out loads of synagogues photos. Look at these old postcards photos of synagogues and you’ll make sure!

Old postcard photos of synagogues are found all over the world. In spite of the fact that the Muslims are very young nation, they did too much for cultural development and the flowering of art.

Italian synagogues have the features that mixed Roman, Greek, Assryo-Babylonian, and Egyptian elements.

Have a look at Polish synagogues! They do also possess specific for this culture features. Unfortunately, most of these works of arts have become the legends in the annals of history.

Old postcard photos of Hungarian synagogues show in what way the history of the former Austro-Hungarian Empire had been developed. Each kingdom had its ruling class: the German-speaking people in Austria and the Magyars in Hungary.

Ukrainian, Belarusian and Russian synagogues are also the legacies of the former Soviet Union that have to be taken as examples.

I found traces of synagogues even in the USA, where many Christian churches act on a level with different reformed churches, Baptists, Lutherans, etc. Simply visit the National Museum of American Jewish History and find American Synagogue Postcards’ Collection.

How to be original, kind and polite while writing various letters and messages? We can make use of different patterns and tips, special literature and business magazines found on the web. Besides, the right thank you messages to write in cards or business e-mails demand knowledge of life and experience.

Don’t worry if you often receive restrained answer on your thank you messages. It would be worst of all not to get any reply. Why? People respond to each other in various ways. We sometimes take into consideration social status, resemblance, relationship, age, nationality and sex.

If you occasionally ask yourself how to write a thank you card or look for appropriate web-sites giving some advice how to write greeting card messages, follow me! I do also take an interest in the rules of ‘Thank You Messages’.

There’re many times you should say thanks and at times it can be disturbing trying to think of the right thank you messages to write in cards. And I offer at your service phrases and words I found on the web. (via)
• Thank you just isn’t enough! You’re the best!
• Thank you for all you do - you are a true friend.
• Thank you much more
Than a greeting can say,
Because you were thoughtful
In such a nice way!

• This brings sincere thanks
for the lovely gift you sent.
We hope it helps to tell you
just how much it meant.

• Heartfelt Thanks…for all that you have done.
• The world’s a better place
Because of folk like you
Who take the time to do nice things
The way you always do.
• Even if every flower in the world had a voice I couldn’t send as many as it would take to say thanks enough!
After a good organized wedding ceremony the newly married couple left thank you messages on the web-site. (via)
• A great big thank you for helping me make my wedding day so perfect and relaxed, you were the best choice by far. For the first time in my life I felt like a princess! I will certainly be recommending you to my friends (and I have already).
Claire Taylor

• Thank you so much for doing everyone’s hair, we were all pleased with the final look. Thank you very much
Sharon Scourfield

• We all agreed you helped get the excitement and adrenaline going early on and kept us all calm and focussed too. Thank you for making the bride look so stunning. She has never looked as gorgeous as she did on Saturday. Rachel and Brid look stunning too.
Josie - Mother of the bride

• It was wonderful meeting you and I felt so special once my hair and makeup was complete. You made me look amazing! Thank you so much for your patience as it was quite hectic and a disorganised morning due to recent events
Janine

• I loved my hair thank you; I wish I could do that whenever I’m off out somewhere fancy! My hubby was impressed too.
Lovely to meet you. Take care
Alex xx

By the way, you can express your attitude to your teacher with the help of Techer’s Day messages.

• You are the bestest Teacher in this world. Wherever I may go in my life, I will always remember that I had an excellent guide in the form of a teacher, You.
• I found guidance, friendship, discipline and love, everything, in one person. And that person is you (name of your teacher)
• Without you, we would have been lost. Thank you teacher for guiding us, inspiring us and making us what we are today.
• We will always be thankful to you for all the hard work and efforts you have put in, for educating us.
• You are not only our teacher. Rather, you are friend, philosopher and guide, all molded into one person. We will always be grateful to you for your support.
• I may not say it always. But, I mean it whenever I say it. Thank You Teacher for all the things you have done for us.

Keep in mind, thank you quotations were left us after well-known classical writers and scientists.

One can pay back the loan of gold, but one dies forever in debt to those who are kind. Malayan Proverb

Unselfish and noble actions are the most radiant pages in the biography of souls. ~David Thomas

Not what we give,
But what we share,
For the gift
without the giver
Is bare.
James Russell Lowell

Silent gratitude isn’t much use to anyone. G.B. Stern

I can no other answer make, but, thanks, and thanks. William Shakespeare

The only people with whom you should try to get even are those who have helped you. John E. Southard

I would maintain that thanks are the highest form of thought, and that gratitude is happiness doubled by wonder. G.K. Chesterton

I would thank you from the bottom of my heart, but for you my heart has no bottom. Author Unknown

The smallest act of kindness is worth more than the grandest intention. Oscar Wilde

Gratitude is the memory of the heart. Jean Baptiste Massieu, translated from French

How far that little candle throws his beams!
So shines a good deed in a weary world.
William Shakespeare

It’s nice to be important, but it’s more important to be nice. Author Unknown

Kindness is the language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see. Mark Twain

How beautiful a day can be
When kindness touches it!
George Elliston

We can only be said to be alive in those moments when our hearts are conscious of our treasures. Thornton Wilder

I feel a very unusual sensation - if it is not indigestion, I think it must be gratitude. Benjamin Disraeli

Hem your blessings with thankfulness so they don’t unravel. Author Unknown

Something that has always puzzled me all my life is why, when I am in special need of help, the good deed is usually done by somebody on whom I have no claim. William Feather

I don’t mind if some guys out of there will thank me, but surely the rest may tell me to go to hell. It depends on what you are looking for and the result.

I can non-stop enumerate all positive and attractive sides of this Nevada’s city, because even mafia has a direct relation to establishment of Las Vegas.

What I’m talking about? As far as I know it’s just a former desert. Nobody knew what to do with it. And as a result investors created a Silverado for some and the tenth wave for the rest. I bet you think there’s nothing to do except for playing card-games and the roulette in casinos! Don’t be so naive! Just look at Las Vegas postcards!

Obviously, while staying at a hotel one rarely sends letters and messages to anybody. Why? What is a purpose of visiting Las Vegas? Gabling and entertainment!
